As I write this on the eve of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Organic Diva signature attitude is absent. The truth is there is nothing funny about breast cancer, particularly if the people you love the most are touched by it. This month presents a challenge for us. While many cosmetics giants highlight "pink-ribbon" products during the months of October, our position is that breast cancer is something to prevent not profit from. We choose to do that by supporting companies that make breast cancer awareness a lifelong goal not a month long goal. As a result, the companies on our site have committed to producing products that don't contain ingredients linked to the disease.
The truth is that you won't see many of these companies in the pages of beauty magazines. Their advertising budgets won't allow that. So to Rich Arnold and Patty Kerr of Nurture My Body, thank you. To Emily Voth of Indigo Wild (Zum), thank you. To Wendy Steele of Keys Soap, thank you. To Suki Kramer of suki advanced organic
science, thank you. To Ulrike Jacob of Lavera, thank you. To Kristin Adams of Afterglow Cosmetics, thank you. To Jane Iredale of Jane Iredale Cosmetics, thank you. We are proud of the company we keep and forever grateful that you remain committed to the health of Baby C and Organic Divas like her everywhere.
